True to our mission, we are committed to assisting anyone who desires to explore the Great Miami River, regardless of physical ability. As the only adaptive rowing program in Southwest Ohio, Annie’s Oars and Betty’s Blades (AOBB) provides an opportunity for people with disabilities to row for health & wellness, recreation, or competition.
Our adaptive rowing program provides river access, the rowing experience, and race opportunities catering to a wide variety of interests and abilities. Our rowers include people with spina bifida, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, amputees, visual & hearing impairments, intellectual disabilities and many other ability levels.
Additionally, many of our youth athletes volunteer with this program to help bring participants and equipment to the water, as well as row and race with our adaptive athletes.
